A new home is a welcome addition to this growing family compound

Embracing family aesthetics

Baun Landscapes did some work on the other three properties gracing this ninety-acre property, so when it came time to work on the landscaping for the newest addition we were a natural fit. The property needed to blend into the aesthetics of the other three homes as well as the heritage brick walkway constructed by the builders.

A wonderful collaboration

We used Indiana limestone to construct the feature walls for the front yard, as it complemented the design style of the home, defined as “modern farmhouse”. The homeowner is extremely knowledgeable about plant material, and we enjoyed collaborating with her — combining our ideas to create a garden design that fulfilled her expectations. This is a work in progress… the backyard is still to be defined.

A delightful space for family

We’re as excited to see this family compound grow as they are… the upgrades just keep on coming! With no neighbours nearby to worry about, working on this property has been a dream — and we imagine living on it is even better.
